Messi follows Dad to buy house in Milan as Inter owners draw up staggering €500m package

Inter Milan’s Chinese owners are putting together a massive budget to bring Lionel Messi to Italy this summer.

Now inside the final year of his current contract, talks over a new deal between Messi and Barcelona have been suspended. Nothing is expected to resume until after Barca’s Champions League campaign concludes.

In the meantime, Inter owners Suning are convinced they can tempt Messi to Milan in the coming months. The superstar’s father, Jorge, has only just moved to the city.

Corriere della Sera says Suning are putting together a massive €500 MILLION three-year contract package to bring the Argentine to Inter.

Inter are in contact with Messi’s camp and have been encouraged that he hasn’t ruled anything out at this stage.

Meanwhile, the Barcelona captain has reportedly bought a penthouse apartment in Milan.

The purchase is close to Inter Milan’s training HQ.

SportMediaset reports has bought an apartment in Milan, close to his father Jorge.

An exclusive sale in the Porta Nuova district has produced local rumours of a move to Inter, as ‘a well-informed source’ claims that La Pulce invested immediately after his father became a homeowner in Milan.

Messi’s father has, reports Gazzetta dello Sport, also obtained residency in Milan for tax reasons.
