Franck Kessie’s summer departure from Barcelona is clearly acceptable to the club. Although there has been no significant development to date, the footballer has a tempting offer from Saudi Arabia.
To further clarify the situation, SPORT via Barca Universal has stated that Barça has already informed Kessie’s agents that they will allow the player to leave if a €30 million bid is made.
Al Nassr reportedly expressed interest in the midfielder and made contact with his entourage. But there hasn’t been any further development despite that.
Al Nassr are rumored to be looking at alternative choices right now. And if they decide to pursue Kessie, formal negotiations will likely begin tomorrow.
Barcelona will only engage in negotiations if the price of around €30 million is made. Beyond that, even if he has insisted he wants to stay, the player would be open to leaving if the wage offer was more than €25 million.

Barcelona are unaware of what is in store, let alone Kessie. The fact that they are open to his exit has been made very plain to the player.
In general, the player has expressed his desire to continue at the club. But he also indicated that he would be open to moving to a lucrative market, like the Middle East. Barcelona have similarly stated that they will not disburse funds if he decides to leave.
At this point, Barcelona would greatly benefit from Kessie’s exit as they attempt to stay below the salary cap. Barcelona would benefit from this in terms of player registrations and, more crucially, new incorporations.
