Mike Tyson Believes He Is Going To Die ‘Really Soon’

Mike Tyson believes his days are numbered and that his fate is imminent. The alarming statements were made by the 56-year-old former boxing champion on his Hotboxin’ podcast.

What Did Mike Tyson Say On His Podcast?

The former heavyweight boxing champion spoke with therapist Sean McFarland, who specialises in trauma and addiction, on his “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” podcast and believes his expiration date is near.

“We’re all gonna die one day of course,” Tyson said. “Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, ‘Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.”

Tyson remained reflective when discussing money, adding that he does not believe it offers the happiness and security that many people associate with it.

“Money don’t mean s**t to me,” Tyson continued.

“I always tell people, they think money’s gonna make them happy, they’ve never had money before, when you have a lot of money, you can’t expect nobody to love you. How am I gonna confess my love to you when you have 500 billion dollars?

“The false sense of security. You believe nothing can happen.

Tyson stated that he had chats with his wife in which she expresses a need for money for security.

“What is security?” he asked. “I don’t know. When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live for the rest of your life, is that security? That means you won’t catch a disease, you can’t get hit by a car? You can’t jump off a bridge. I don’t know. Is that security? Can money secure you from that?”

This is not Tyson’s first important public reflection in recent months, nor is it the first time he has brought up his own impending demise.

Tyson disclosed last October at a psychedelics conference in Miami that he had used Sonoran desert toad venom for psychedelic purposes 53 times in his life, and that he “died” during his first trip from the drug.

According to the New York Post, Tyson claimed, “I did it as a dare I was doing heavy drugs like cocaine, so why not? It’s another dimension. Before I did the toad, I was a wreck.

“The toughest opponent I ever faced was myself. I had low self-esteem. People with big egos often have low self-esteem. We use our ego to subsidize that. The toad strips the ego.”

Tyson, who raises the toads on a ranch in Southern California, claimed the experience has made him a “new person,” adding that it has changed his life and shifted his outlook on the world.
