Mikel Arteta discussed injuries within his squad ahead of the game against PSV Eindhoven on Thursday evening.
The Gunners will be seeking a victory when they travel to the Netherlands for a Europa League matchup in order to secure first place in their group.
However, the Gunners will obviously need to play at their peak if they hope to prevail in Eindhoven, and they will be without Marquinhos, who has been outstanding so far in the Europa League.
Mikel Arteta reveals that the teenager wasn’t feeling well prior to the game and that he hasn’t even travelled over to the Netherlands for this match.

What Arteta Had To Say About Marquinhos
The Arsenal manager confirmed that Marquinhos won’t be playing in this game.
“We had Marquinhos who wasn’t feeling good today and he hasn’t travelled, but the rest are ok,” Arteta said.
While this may not be the largest setback Arsenal will have this year, it is a major setback for Marquinhos and his progress.

A game away against PSV would’ve given the Brazilian, who has been one of the Europa League’s breakout stars this season, another another opportunity to show off his abilities.
The winger who needs matches like this to keep adjusting to his new team’s style and winning over his manager has however, been denied that chance this time.
