Arteta took over Arsenal in December 2019 when the club was struggling, and after two and a half years, he has constructed a team that will compete for the title in 2022/23. They got close again in 2023/24.

This season has produced some quite tedious football. It focuses too much on control rather than excitement and spontaneity. Their best hope has been set pieces. Yes, they have sustained injuries. But why are people so ignorant as to term it bad luck?
