Arsenal and Arteta have been reported to be interested in Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey. The player’s goal is to play in the Premier League, and this summer, Mikel Arteta may fulfill that ambition.
In the forthcoming transfer window, Arteta’s plan is not expected to be to sign a right-back. However, it is a position that he could add further depth to.
Considering Takehiro Tomiyasu’s recent injury struggles, Ben White has started the most of the season at right-back.
Arteta hasn’t been able to rest White at all lately, and William Saliba’s absence prevented him from moving the England star to the middle of the defense due to Tomiyasu’s injury.
Ivan Fresneda, a promising Spanish player, was said to be moving to Arsenal in January. Boey, though, is a brand-new name that may be added to the list of those who are reportedly targets for the Gunners.
Arsenal are reportedly ‘seriously interested’ in signing the 22-year-old, according to the Turkish publication Aksam.
Additionally mentioned as admirers are Sporting Lisbon, Udinese, and Lyon.

Boey, a former youth international for France, joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2021 from Rennes, playing there for the past two seasons.
He has played in 28 of his team’s 31 league games this season, making it his most productive season in terms of appearances. He has one goal and three assists.
Aksam says Galatasaray have already received contact from clubs interested in Boey.
Boey still has two years remaining on his contract at Galatasaray. However, he admitted earlier this year he is hoping for a move this summer, with the Premier League his preference.
