Mohamed Salah Receives Unanimous Ballon D’Or Judgment Following Man City Scandal

Mohamed Salah has been advised that he is one of just two players capable of winning the Ballon d’Or this season.

The Egyptian forward is in the midst of an incredible season for Liverpool. The 32-year-old has 26 goals and 18 assists this season, as the Reds compete for the Premier League and Champions League under Arne Slot.

The Merseysiders are also in the Carabao Cup final, which means they may win three individual trophies before the end of the season. If that happens, Salah is expected to be in the running for the Ballon d’Or right away.

Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry, and Micah Richards were given the duty of making early predictions. Unsurprisingly, the Liverpool icon had little doubt when he chose Salah.

While Henry and Richards were completely in accord, they did mention one potential limitation. The Frenchman continued, “I’m with Jamie, yeah. If he keeps going like that, yes. “If he continues like that.” Reported By Mirror.

The former Manchester City player responded: “He [Salah] is my mate, but maybe Vinicius…” Yeah, maybe Salah as well,” with Henry suggesting: “It depends on what they win, so it’s a tricky one.”

Richards then decided that it would be between Salah and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian will undoubtedly be looking to win the trophy for the first time this season.

He was also a frontrunner last season, but was narrowly defeated by Manchester City’s Rodri, prompting Real Madrid to skip the glamorous ceremony. And  there has been ongoing controversy since.
