England skipper Eoin Morgan says it was “extremely satisfying” to see his side bat the way they did against New Zealand on Friday. The Three Lions were formidable with the bat in hand as the made their highest ever T20 score of 241-3 before going on to beat the Black Caps by 76 runs in Napier. With England now looking ahead to the decider in the five-match series in Auckland on Sunday, Morgan has revealed his delight at the manner of their latest batting display. “I don’t think we’ve ever batted in that manner or posted a score like that, so to do it against a very strong line-up and come out winners is extremely satisfying,” said Morgan On Test Match Special. “I said before the game that our method doesn’t really waver at any stage, just our skill level needs to get better.”
