Antoine Griezmann is third on Jose Mourinho’s list of transfer priorities at Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that United’s interest in the Atletico Madrid forward is still there, but Mourinho is now prioritising moves for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, and Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe.
The report also claims that Griezmann is not convinced by Paris Saint-Germain’s proposal, but Atletico Madrid are already lining up replacements for the France international.
Torino striker Andrea Belotti was wanted by Diego Simeone but the Atletico boss is instead focused on signing Diego Costa from Chelsea and Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
Speaking earlier this week Atletico’s assistant, Juan Vizcaino, suggested that United could miss out on Griezmann this summer.
‘I think Griezmann will stay,’ he told Cadena Ser.
‘At this stage, you can misinterpret remarks made by anyone.
‘But I think Griezmann has made it very clear in his mind that he will remain.’
