Jose Mourinho has revealed that Manchester United’s transfer business is now in the hands of Ed Woodward after claiming that his summer targets have been made known for two months.
United will be back in the Champions League next season after Wednesday night’s 2-0 victory over Ajax in the Europa League final.
Antoine Griezmann is reportedly Mourinho’s top target and United are said to be ready to activate the £86 million release clause in the France international’s contract with Atletico Madrid.
Mourinho may also be forced to find a replacement for David De Dea, who is Real Madrid’s priority target for the summer.
But when quizzed on United’s transfer business after his side’s Europa League triumph, Mourinho told BT Sport: ‘Ed Woodward has my analysis, has what I want, what I would like for more than two months.
‘Now it’s for him, now for the owners and the people who work with him [to sort], so I just wait.
‘But I don’t care about football for now.’
