Jose Mourinho was on hand to witness a perfect moment for two Roma supporters this week as he acted as a bystander to a marriage proposal – even if the Portuguese’s upbeat attitude may have been required to help make the best of a potentially embarrassing scenario.
The manager met with two supporters for photos at the club’s training facilities, as shown in a video shared on the team’s official social media platforms. However, even he with his flair for the dramatic probably did not expect one of them to drop down on their knee.
The seasoned coach, however, shrugged aside any potential concern and congratulated the couple on their engagement while applauding the gesture.

Mourinho’s Special Tattoo
Jose Mourinho has chosen to have a tattoo that ‘only he can have’ to honour all of the clubs for that he has won European titles.
Last season, Jose Mourinho won the Europa Conference League with AS Roma after a first-half goal from Nicolo Zaniolo.
The close victory Mourinho achieved against Feyenoord at the Arena Kombetare made him the first coach to ever win all three UEFA competitions.
Mourinho has a stellar track record. While playing for FC Porto, “The Special One” won the Europa League in 2003 and the Champions League in 2004.
He won the Europa League with Man Utd in 2017 after winning the Champions League with Inter Milan in 2010, which he deemed to be his “most important” accomplishment as a coach.
Mourinho has decided to honor his success in Europe by getting a “Special” tattoo symbolizing his accomplishments.
He wrote alongside the tattoo design: “This is my tattoo. I did it because it made the Roman populace happy. Then I had an idea for something exceptional, something that would honor all of the clubs where I had won European competitions.
