Napoli Chiefs Jet Off To London For Talks With Chelsea Over Two Deals

  1. Napoli representatives have reportedly fly to London for showdown talks with Chelsea over two possible deals in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea want to sign Victor Osimhen, the outstanding player from Napoli, while the Italian team are in talks with the Blues to sign Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku has previously worked with Napoli boss, Antonio Conte. Gli Azzurri made their first formal proposal for the striker on Monday.

Chelsea prefer a permanent transfer that is closer to the Belgian’s £36 million release clause. But they have offered to take Lukaku on loan with a buyout option of £25.5 million.

The west London club are willing to talk about the terms and conditions of the sale. Even though Napoli’s initial offer has not been accepted. The 31-year-old hasn’t played for Chelsea in more than two years, and they want him off the books.

According to The Metro, chief executives from both clubs are scheduled to meet in London today due to Chelsea’s willingness to carry on with talks and Napoli’s determination to complete the deal.

Football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said that Napoli want to finalize the Lukaku deal before talking about potentially selling Osimhen.

To date, Osimhen has played 133 games for Napoli in all competitions, tallying 76 goals and 18 assists.
