Antonio Conte will be formally introduced as Napoli’s new coach in a lavish event held at the storied Palazzo Reale.
The strategist, who has been unemployed since departing Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent in March 2023, already signed the three-year deal on June 5.
He and his spouse came in Naples on Tuesday, when he met with agent Mario Giuffredi, director Giovanni Manna, and other staff members in addition to President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Instead of the customary sports grounds, the Palazzo Reale, or Royal Palace, which doubles as a museum and library, will host the event.
Located on the grounds of the famous San Carlo theater, this was the royal palace of the Bourbons throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.
