Neville Claims He’s ‘Tired’ Of Man United, Makes Prediction Ahead Chelsea And Liverpool

Gary Neville has confessed he is tired and growing bored of watching Manchester United matches this season.

The Red Devils have had a difficult start to the season and are in danger of missing out of Europe. They have also already lost six of their first 14 Premier League games this season and have been eliminated from the Carabao Cup.

The most recent league loss occurred on Saturday night when Erik ten Hag’s team played a terrible away game against Newcastle United. The Magpies ran out 1-0 winners, thanks to a goal from Antony Gordon in the second half.

What Did Neville Say About His Undesirability Of United’s Games?

Speaking following that terrible show, Neville claimed it was now agonizing to watch his former team.

“It’s well below par, it’s really disappointing,” he said on his Sky Sports podcast as reported by Manchester World.

“I feel like we’re in a cycle of the noise against the manager is starting to occur. There are the same noises that say ‘well surely we can’t get rid of another manager – we’ve got to get rid of the players because they are the ones that got rid of the other managers’.

“And then we turn to the owners – and I’m bored. I’ve become tired of my own club. I don’t want to do their games anymore.

“I don’t want to watch their games anymore, and that is the saddest indictment that you can have of your football club, when you become bored of watching them, when you become tired of watching them.

“And it’s not just me, a couple of people in the last couple of weeks [have said] ‘enough’s enough’.”

The defeat to Newcastle extends United’s appalling away record against the top teams in the league. And the Red Devils haven’t triumphed in an away game against a top-eight opponent since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer time.

After losing their last four games against teams in the top half of the table, United lost their most recent match at St. James’ Park on Saturday.

The record might be extended as they could lose their next two games against Chelsea and Liverpool.
