Liverpool forward, Darwin Nunez has reportedly made a sad confession as he admitted to his struggles in the Reds shirt.
Nunez is said to be keen to get away from his Liverpool problems and play for Uruguay, so the international break has come at a perfect time.
Liverpool’s recent results have been disappointing, as they lost to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday and were eliminated from the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain.
Nunez played a small part in both games, coming off the bench but not having a big influence. This season, the attacker has made 41 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, scoring seven goals.

Infrequent starts and his patchy play under manager Arne Slot have raised speculation about a possible summer departure.
As a result, the 25-year-old is excited about the opportunity to represent his nation in their forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Argentina and Bolivia.
According to the Daily Express, when Nunez landed at Uruguay’s Carrasco International Airport, he told local reporters that “the ball doesn’t want to go in.”
The Uruguayan striker, who has faced criticism for his performances, expressed his determination in a recent interview: “I’m happy thinking about the national team, enjoying every minute with it.
“These are moments that one goes through in football, and as I said recently: I’m not someone who throws in the towel because they don’t play, but rather I’m going to keep working so I can play.”
