Barcelona have announced that Brazilian superstar Neymar will sign on the dotted line on Friday to extend his contract by five years, taking him up to 2021.
Neymar’s future at Barcelona has been largely speculated over the past few months with apparent interest from Manchester United making things difficult.
However, it always seemed like the Brazilian sensation – who has won two La Liga titles with Barcelona – was set to stay at the Nou Camp.

After a deal was agreed back in June, Barcelona have now confirmed that the forward will sign his new contract on Friday.
The 24-year-old has played in six games in La Liga so far this season and found the back of the net four times. Luis Suarez is the club’s top scorer with six while Lionel Messi currently sits on five.
However, no player at the club has created more chances than Neymar’s 14 at Barcelona while he has also assisted three goals.
