Last season, Darwin Nunez was the second fastest player in the Champions League, with only Kylian Mbappe registering a faster time.
The technical report for last season’s tournament has been released by UEFA, and it features a great deal of data and figures.
The figures show Nunez impressing at his former club Benfica.
The £85 million new addition to Liverpool had a stellar season, netting 34 goals across all competitions.
The 23-year-old Uruguayan is under pressure to succeed after making a high-profile transfer to Liverpool this season.
On his Anfield debut earlier this month, he had a clash with Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen. He was dismissed for violent conduct thereafter.

However, after reading the most recent assessment from UEFA, Liverpool supporters will be sure that he can succeed in Merseyside.
According to the report, Mbappe set a stunning record for the Champions League last year, clocking in at 36.7kph (22.8mph).
Nunez, meanwhile, was only slightly slower than Mbappe, hitting a high speed of 36.5kph (22.68mph). He was faster than Federico Valverde (36.2 km/h), Alphonso Davies (36.3 km/h), and former teammate Rafa Silva (36.4 km/h).
Nunez was also faster than his new Liverpool teammates, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz.
Furthermore, he was faster than his predecessor Sadio Mane, whose six-year tenure at Anfield ended this summer when he signed with Bayern Munich.
On the first day of the season at Craven Cottage, Nunez smashed his Champions League pace with a speed of 36.53 kph (22.69 mph).
In the 2-2 draw, the Uruguayan was outstanding, scoring and dishing out an assist.
