Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen is reportedly anticipating an approach from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old Nigeria international, who won the 2022/23 Serie A title with Napoli hinted at a possible move in January stating that he had ‘made a decision’ about his next move.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport as reported by Football London, Osimhen thinks the Gunners will show interest because they need a new goal poacher. Even though no formal interest has yet been registered.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, is anticipated to insist that any interested club fulfill Osimhen’s release clause which is in the tune of €130 million (£110.7 million).
Chelsea are yet another club that have been mentioned. But those talks have collapsed despite recent discussion of a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku.
