Chelsea star, Cole Palmer appeared to aim a subtle jibe at Aston Villa midfielder, Morgan Rogers after the Blues 3-0 win over the Villans on Sunday.
Palmer scored a goal and provided an assist at Stamford Bridge, earning him the Premier League Man of the Match award.
The England international shared a picture of his conversation with Rogers on the social media platform Snapchat on his Instagram story following the game.
Rogers is seen informing Palmer that he will score “no goals against Villa” in the private conversation, which most likely occurred before the Sunday’s match.

According to The Metro, Palmer responded by telling his Villa opponent: ‘Player of the Match is comin [sic] back with me.’
The 22-year-old did just that, and his Man of the Match trophy is visible in the Instagram story’s background, alongside the Snapchat conversations he had with Rogers.
Having played together in Manchester City’s academy in the past, Palmer and Rogers have a strong friendship.
Earlier in the season, Rogers said Palmer had taken away his famous celebration.
“Yeah, it’s true [that Palmer stole my celebration],” Rogers said. ‘I’ll let him have it.
“He’s scored 40 goals or something stupid. Can’t really argue with that, can I?”
With five goal involvements in 13 Premier League games this season, Rogers has shown promise for Villa.
However, he hasn’t quite lived up to Palmer’s impressive record of eight goals and six assists in 13 Premier League games.
