Paul Merson, an Arsenal star, has offered to get a Tottenham tattoo if Spurs win against Manchester City.
Arsenal will need to rely on their north London rivals to win their first Premier League title since 2004. Pep Guardiola’s squad has a game in hand on Mikel Arteta’s club and can retake first place if they win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night.
Arsenal’s win at Manchester United on Sunday ensures they will compete for the title until the end, regardless of the outcome, but a favour from their bitter rivals would be huge in the meantime. Arteta’s team will play their final game of the season at home against Everton next Sunday, with City kicking off at home to West Ham at the same time.

Merson, an England midfielder turned Sky Sports pundit, believes the Citizens will win because he does not expect struggling Spurs – who beat Burnley last weekend but have been thrashed by Liverpool, comfortably dispatched by Chelsea, conceded three goals in a defeat to Arsenal, and hammered by Newcastle – to help them.
After the Gunners’ 1-0 victory at Old Trafford, he told Sky Sports: “Arsenal will most likely finish second. “If they win, I’ll get a Tottenham tattoo.”
When asked by Sky Sports presenter David Jones where he would acquire the ink, Merson answered, “Where you can’t see it!”
Merson went on to say that he believed Champions League-chasing Spurs would be more motivated if Aston Villa lost to Liverpool on Monday night,” reported Football London. He said: “If Villa loses by two or three goals tomorrow, that goal difference will change slightly.
