Chelsea winger Pedro has claimed that his strike against Bournemouth on Boxing Day was better than his goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spaniard has scored some impressive goals throughout his career and was particularly proud of the aforementioned strikes.
As reported by the club’s official website, Pedro said: “I have always scored a lot of goals with both feet.
“It’s an important quality of mine. It’s good to be able to shoot with one foot or the other foot, it gives you more options. The goal against Bournemouth was a very good goal for me and the team and I’m happy to score again. it was a nice moment.
“I think the goal against Tottenham was better but the Bournemouth one was a good goal, also.”
Pedro has enjoyed an impressive campaign so far and has scored five goals in the Premier League, while he has created twelve chances.
With his pace and directness, Pedro is a major threat to opponents and will hope to help Chelsea win the title this season.
The Blues are currently top of the table, seven points above their closest challengers Tottenham Hotspur, and can take another, albeit small, step towards glory when they host Hull City on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea’s hopes of success have been boosted further by the fact that Diego Costa – the joint highest scorer in the Premier League this season – is back available for the game against Hull having missed the victory over Leicester City last weekend amidst uncertainty over his future.
