After defeating Manchester City at home for the fourteenth time in a row, Pep Guardiola thinks Aston Villa can win the Premier League.
According to Birmingham Live, Villa won the game and moved up to third place in the table behind City thanks to a deflected goal from Leon Bailey in the second half. Villa will try to reduce the gap between them and leaders Arsenal when they play the Gunners on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
After racking up 32 points in the first 15 games of the Premier League season, the win guarantees the team’s best start ever. Guardiola is certain that Villa can advance far and possibly win the Premier League.

After the loss, Guardiola was questioned about whether Villa had a good chance of winning. “Yes, definitely,” he answered.
