Guardiola’s career losing streak has lasted the longest, as City has lost five of their past six games.

On Tuesday, they handed away a three-goal lead to draw with Feyenoord.

Guardiola stated that managers at teams like City are in “trouble” if they lose because they are unable to “cry all the time” over Rodri’s injury.

He said: “No complaining, no blaming, no pointing the figure or running from your responsibility. If you don’t win, you’re in trouble, I know that.”

Guardiola stated that in his attempt to save City’s season, it is his responsibility to prove himself once more, reports Independent.

“Now I must prove myself. I’m striving every day to discover a solution and a means to do it.”

If City loses at Anfield on Sunday, they would fall 11 points behind Liverpool and Guardiola stated that they are not currently considering winning the Premier League championship.

“It’s not realistic to think about big targets in the situation we have,” he continued. “The situation is to consider one game and generate the will to keep going.”
