Mino Raiola, Paul Pogba‘s agent, has admitted having annual meetings with Premier League trio Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool among other big clubs like Barcelona.
Raiola is one of the biggest agents in world football probably second only to Jorge Mendes, the agent of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, as well as other big names.
The Italian represents Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mario Balotelli to name a few.
He has now sent speculation over several of his clients’ futures into overdrive by revealing that he holds regular talks with some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Raiola told Marca: “It is not a secret. Every year I meet with Madrid, but also with United, Barcelona, City, Liverpool, Chelsea.
“That is my job. In the last two years my relationship with Real Madrid is clear and professional. Now there is serious dialogue, it’s positive.
“There are other important clubs like United, that was part of (Pogba’s) life, Barcelona likes three attackers, PSG is Paris and he has a house there. But then there is Real Madrid.”
Ibrahimovic is arguably his biggest client right now and the Swede is on the verge of making a money-spinning move despite turning 35 years of age this October.
The former Juventus, Inter Milan and Barcelona frontman has left Paris Saint-Germain with his contract expiring at the end of the month, and Manchester United, as well as several other major clubs, have been linked with him.
As there is no transfer fee to pay for Ibrahimovic, there is likely to be a large signing-on fee on top of Raiola’s agent fees as part of any deal, making a move to the Premier League this summer a profitable deal for the player’s agent.
