Pogba In ‘Advanced Talks’ With New Club

Paul Pogba is reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ with a new club following his suspension reduction to 18 months.

Pogba was given a hefty suspension for doping in February, but it was lowered after he appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

He has been given the all-clear to start playing football again in March 2025, but probably not at Juventus.

According to a recent statement by Fabrizio Romano, the Turin club and the former Manchester United player are set to agree to end his contract in Italy.

According to Sports Joe, Marseille have advanced in talks over the player’s services, despite suggestions that the 2018 World Cup winner is linked to the MLS.

Numerous reports have also stated that both camps have been negotiating for a number of weeks.

Additionally, Patrice Evra had already endorsed Pogba’s move to the Stade Velodrome.

It will be intriguing to see Pogba’s return to professional football, after almost two years without a competitive action.

The 31-year-old won a host of trophies during his peak years. He won the Scudetto three times with Juventus as well as the Coppa Italia before breaking the transfer record and made a return back to Man United in 2016.

Pogba won the UEFA Europa League and the Carabao Cup in his first season back at Old Trafford.
