Marseille president Pablo Longoria has reportedly claimed that Paul Pogba could make a return to football in the future.
After successfully appealing for a reduction from the original four-year penalty, Pogba’s 18-month doping ban ended last month, making him a free agent.
The midfielder is currently one of the most sought-after free agents in football after leaving Juventus with mutual consent.
With increasing interest from MLS and the Saudi Pro League, a return to football is anticipated for the 2025–2026 season.

Pogba is probably in favor of moving to one of Europe’s top divisions in order to give himself a chance to play for France as the 2026 World Cup draws near.
One team rumored to be eyeing a move is Marseille, and Longoria has disclosed that discussions about a possible deal have taken place.
“We had the opportunity, there were some conversations, and we’ve considered this possibility,” he told El Larguero.
“Looking to the future, he’s obviously a player of an important level, and a name like that on the market is always valuable. Looking ahead, we’re focused on the end of the season, and perhaps in three weeks we’ll have a clearer vision of the plan.
“Obviously, a player like that on the market is something to be valued.”
