Premier League Boss Emerges As Potential Ten Hag Replacement

Brentford manager, Thomas Frank has reportedly emerged as a target for Manchester United as they seek for Erik ten Hag successor.

Ten Hag, 53, had a successful first year in charge but has had it difficult this term. The Red Devils’ manager is under a lot of tension due to United being currently eighth in the Premier League standings and doesn’t seem like they will make it to Europe next season.

Due to United’s dismal performance and the hiring of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as chief executive of Ineos, numerous prominent coaches have been linked to the top position at Old Trafford. Frank has also come under scrutiny because Ten Hag’s future is about to be decided.

Over the previous six years, the 50-year-old Dane has amassed an impressive body of experience at Brentford. Leading the Bees to the Premier League and then surpassing expectations there.

According to The Telegraph as cited by The Mirror, he would be a serious candidate to succeed Ten Hag in the event the Dutchman moves on.

The report mentions Frank’s prior relationship with Ineos in an intriguing way. He used to be connected with Sir Dave Brailsford, Ratcliffe’s right-hand man, who is currently employed at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag, on the other hand, won’t likely find out until after this month’s FA Cup final against Manchester City whether or not he will serve his contract’s final year.

After failing to repeat his success from the 2022–23 season, when United won the Carabao Cup and qualified for the Champions League, the former Ajax boss has had to deal with rumors and speculation about his future the entire season.
