Premier League Club Wants To Sign Ex-Chelsea Forward

Leicester City is interested in signing Ex-Chelsea Forward Tammy Abraham from Roma.

This is in line with a report from an Italian website, which claims the striker will be open to moves in the upcoming months.

The Foxes had a great 2023–24 season, winning the Championship and earning an instant promotion back to the Premier League.

Consequently, when the market reopens, Leicester will now try to assemble a team that can compete in the English Premier League.

Abraham himself appears to be one guy they should consider signing in order to accomplish that, says Football League

Abraham played for Chelsea until moving to Roma in the summer of 2021. Earlier in his career, the attacker spent multiple stints on loan at other teams.

In 119 games in all competitions since moving to Italy, the 26-year-old has contributed 13 assists and 37 goals to the team’s total.

He may be returning to England soon as this most recent report indicates Leicester is eager to capture the former Chelsea player this summer.

Abraham ‘The Man For The Job’

Abraham is reportedly a target for the Foxes, who are expected to be eager to add a center forward this summer.

Roma, for their part, is rumored to be prepared to seek €28 million for the England international’s services in exchange for selling him this summer.

As things stand, it’s unclear if Leicester would be prepared to make that payment. Abraham’s contract with Roma has two years left on it, meaning he may stay in Italy till the end of the 2025–2026 campaign.

Naturally, that gives his present team considerable leeway to haggle over any offers made for the striker this summer.

Abraham is reportedly eager to sign with Bournemouth once the transfer window opens up again. In recent weeks, Bournemouth named former Rome general manager Tiago Pinto as their new President of Football Operations.
