PSG braced for Real Mbappe bid

PSG forward Kylian Mbappe is reportedly the number one transfer target of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. The World Cup winner has been sensational since making his big-money move to the French champions from Monaco.
He signed on loan initially before making the move permanent in 2018 in a 145million euros deal.
Mbappe has gone on to score 66 goals in 95 appearances for PSG as they have dominated the French football landscape.
He has won the French Ligue 1 title every season since his arrival at the Parc des Princes and has also been influential in helping them win the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Liga in 2018.
However, he soon be on his way out, with reports in Spain suggesting Florentino Perez is desperate to make the 20-year-old a new Galactico at Real.
Perez reportedly sent a series of WhatsApp messages to officials at the Bernebeu eulogising over Mbappe’s performance against Club Brugge in midweek.
The Frenchman came off the bench to score a 22-minute hat trick against the Belgian outfit to send them five points clear of Los Blancos at the top of their Champions League Group.
But they would likely have to part with a world record fee in order to bring Mbappe to the club.
Reports claim it would take a fee of around £260million to persuade PSG to even contemplate selling one of their star assets, whose future instead they want to secure with a new deal.
Real have been looking to rejuvenate their squad since Cristiano Ronaldo departed for Juventus last summer.
They brought in Eden Hazard from Chelsea and Luka Jovic for big fees but are still after other big names to bolster their options.
PSG have also seen Neymar linked with an exit in recent months and the Brazilian’s long-term future at the club remains in serious doubt after he made it clear he wanted to rejoin old club Barcelona in the summer.
