PSG Hoping For Transfer Fee From Mbappe As Part Of Madrid Move

The Emir of Qatar reportedly wished Kylian Mbappe luck on his summer transfer to Real Madrid. Acknowledging that the French sensation would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

The French giants are still hoping for some sort of transfer fee even though he will be leaving PSG for free at the end of his contract.

Numerous reports stated that Mbappe has already decided to support his hometown club by forgoing a €80 million loyalty bonus that he is entitled to.

According to L’Equipe as cited by Football Espana, PSG are currently holding out for more cash from the 25-year-old’s camp.

Despite his previous insistence that he would never leave for free, it is said that he is still negotiating the terms of his departure from PSG. And that he has not signed a contract with Real Madrid for the upcoming season.

His estimated signing bonus is in the range of €100–150 million. Though the French forward’s two recent match on the bench have soured Mbappe’s relationship with manager Luis Enrique, this is not expected to affect negotiations.

Since PSG have no more contractual power over Mbappe, their stance is solely predicated on the assumption that the 2018 World Cup winner is willing to forgo a sizable portion of his income out of love for the team and a desire to keep his word.

It’s a little surprising that Mbappe’s representatives would be ready to part with so much. Considering how hard they’ve fought for his contracts in recent years.
