Paris Saint-Germain are set to overturn a goal deficit when they travel to Spain to play Barcelona in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
Last week, the French club fell to a 3-2 defeat to the Blaugrana club at the Parc des Princes. A brace from Raphinha and Andreas Christensen strike gave Barcelona a crucial advantage ahead of the return leg.
But instead of the typical setting of Spotify Camp Nou, Barca will play PSG at the Olympic Lluis Companys Stadium.
Due to Camp Nou’s renovation, the stadium has functioned as Barça’s home ground this season.
In fact, Barca Universal claims that in Paris, the belief is that Barcelona will not gain much from the stadium atmosphere and fan support. This is because the game is being played at Montjuic rather than the famed Spotify Camp Nou.
Although the Montjuic’s seating is farther from the field than at Camp Nou, it still can’t match that stadium’s capacity or atmosphere. But the Blaugranes will still be surrounded by their supporters in the center of Barcelona.
For example, there was an amazing atmosphere during the recent Champions League match against Napoli. Especially in the lead-up to the match, as supporters flocked to the streets.
Furthermore, it is unlikely that Barça will be unduly perturbed by the location of the stadium.

Even though the Catalan club had to play the first leg away from home, they seemed unaffected by the unfriendly Parc des Princes and won 3-2.
As the season nears its conclusion, the team has also grown accustomed to the stadium. Something that may not have happened in the beginning.
