Manuel Ugarte has reportedly been left out of Paris Saint-Germain squad for their upcoming Ligue 1 match against Montpellier on Friday night ahead of his impending move to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old was not included in the squad for PSG’s opening match of the season against Le Havre a week prior. And the team appear to be ready to let the midfield player go in the last week of the summer transfer window.
According to ManchesterWorld United and PSG are almost at an agreement with a deal for Ugarte. Though it’s unclear if this will be a full transfer or just an initial loan with the option for permanent transfer.
Due to PSG’s insistence on sticking to their €60 million value, Erik ten Hag’s team had given up on a deal, although the deal is now rumored to be close.
Manager Luis Enrique has stated that the Uruguay international is not in his future plans after Joao Neves was signed from Benfica.

As a result, PSG are under more pressure to get rid of Ugarte. Even if they would prefer to keep as much of the €60 million they paid to buy him as possible.
In any case, United are expected to sign their top midfield target because they have already reached a personal agreement with the Uruguayan on a possible transfer to Old Trafford.
