PSG On The Verge Of Signing Liverpool Target For €45M

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to sign Liverpool transfer target, Willian Pacho to bolster their defensive line.

While Pacho, 22, has not played much in his career overall. He emerged as a major player at Eintracht Frankfurt last season, playing 44 games, including 33 starts in the Bundesliga. His rise at the club level coincided with his breakthrough on the international scene, having made his debut for Ecuador in March 2023.

The 22-year-old played every minute of his team’s run to the quarterfinals of the most recent Copa America, where they were narrowly defeated by winners Argentina on penalties.

Pacho’s play also caught the eyes of PSG as one of the best young defenders on display.

The French champions are showing interest in the Bundesliga defender, who is now on the verge of signing, according to Sky Sports Germany as reported by Liverpool World.

A €45 million all-in deal between the clubs is almost complete. Total verbal agreement between Paris and Pacho about a long-term contract is done. Luis Campos and Markus Krösche will expand on the last details presently, most likely this week for medical.
