The French League’s appeals board has maintained its decision requiring Paris Saint-Germain to reimburse Kylian Mbappe for outstanding salaries totaling 55 million euros (£42 million).

Last month, Mbappe won his case before the LFP’s legal panel but PSG appealed, claiming it owed him nothing. The verdict was upheld when the two parties were heard again on October 15.
“He must receive the portions of his salary that he is claiming from the club (PSG),” the LFP emailed The Associated Press.
“This decision is not subject to further appeal but it may be brought up before the French soccer Federation’s executive committee.”
In his conflict with PSG, Mbappe had earlier turned down the commission’s offer of mediation, claiming that the team owed him three months’ pay and the final third of a loyalty incentive.
He scored a club-record 256 goals in seven years for PSG before joining Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer, reports Metro.
When Mbappé chose not to renew his contract, he was sidelined for the 2023–24 season. PSG claimed that there was a verbal understanding that the player would forfeit incentives in order to rejoin the squad.
But during his final home game at Parc des Princes, Mbappe was booed by some fans and his relationship with PSG ended amid intense difficulties.
