After yesterday’s demonstrations, which notably culminated with a group of PSG supporters going to Neymar’s home, Paris Saint-Germain have made the decision to beef up security surrounding the club’s training facility and in front of certain players’ residences, according to AFP.
Apparently spurred on by the controversy surrounding Lionel Messi’s two-week suspension, a sizable crowd gathered in front of the club’s headquarters on Wednesday.
They proceeded to shout out insults aimed at manager Christophe Galtier, Marco Verratti, Neymar, and the Argentine forward.
A group of around a hundred then made for the Brazilian’s house in the western suburbs, to express their desire for him to leave the club.
The former Barcelona man, who is currently recovering from ankle ligament surgery, confirmed that certain fans had come to his house.

PSG released a statement condemning yesterday’s excesses afterwards.
“Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday,” a statement read.
“Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions.
“The Club gives its full support to its players, its staff and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour.”
In the face of threats of further protests, PSG will now heighten security around its Camp des Loges training ground and the homes of the players who were targeted.
