The new home kit for Paris Saint-Germain’s 2023–2024 season was unveiled this Wednesday morning, including a surprise appearance for Leo Messi in the promotional pictures.
American sportswear company Nike and PSG went retro for the Les Parisiens’ latest jersey.
With a prominent vertical red stripe on the left side of the jersey, the new kit pays homage to the jersey used by the likes of Ronaldinho and Pedro Miguel Pauleta in the early 2000s.
Players from the PSG Women’s squad including Sakina Karchaoui, Oriane Jean-François, and Grace Geyoro appear in the promotional video alongside club captain Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Neymar, Presnel Kimpembe, Achraf Hakimi and Warren Zaïre-Emery.
According to Nike and PSG, the 2023/2024 home kit “embody the unique mindset of the French capital“. A French flag is also adorned at the back of the kit.
