Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly not willing to renew the contractual terms of Kylian Mbappe which will make the superstar a free agent next summer.
As it stands, Mbappe is expected to be available for free which means clubs interested won’t pay a dime to PSG to sign him.
According to Diairo AS as reported Football Espana, the club’s hierarchy believes that a satisfied Mbappe, who seems to be enjoying his position with Luis Enrique, will be inclined to extend his contract. Giving PSG the opportunity to negotiate or give them some time to persuade the 24-year-old that staying in Paris is worthwhile.
The Park des Princes has stated that “it’s impossible to pay him more,” but it does allow Madrid and other clubs to freely bargain with Mbappe starting from January.
Without a doubt, the French forward wants to be a Champions League winner. But the fact that he has already turned down Los Blancos three times will probably make him realize that he can’t turn them down too many more times without irreparably damaging the relationship.
Furthermore, many speculate that los Blancos’ failure to recruit an out-and-out striker this summer is a hint that they plan to sign the 24-year-old. But if there’s one thing Mbappe has taught the football world, it’s to never give up until the very end.
