Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to sanction the sale of Kylian Mbappe after the forward has shown no interest in signing fresh terms with the club.
On Friday, PSG announced the decision to leave the 24-year-old out of the squad travelling for pre-season friendlies in Japan.
The Parisians’ position on Mbappe was made clear a few weeks ago. When they gave him an ultimatum to sign a new contract or depart.
According to Football London, in light of this, despite the money needed to finalize a transfer, Chelsea and Arsenal first expressed interest in signing Mbappe.
PSG decided to leave Mbappe out of their preseason plans after searching for a response to their ultimatum by July 15.
Chelsea’s interest in Mbappe could grow over the next few days. As preparations are made behind the scenes to see whether an audacious business can be made.
Real Madrid appear to be the most likely destination. And some in Paris believe he has already agreed to go to Los Blancos next summer. But Chelsea might spoil the party.
According to RMC, Chelsea are interested in the France international and are currently “studying the feasibility” of a transfer.

A transfer to Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, has been brought up in the conversation over his future. With Al-Hilal reportedly offering up to €200 million.
According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, those in the Middle East are willing to make an offer. Even if it means he remains for just one season before signing with Real Madrid.
