It is also revealed by Sports Zone that there has been persistent contact between Salah and Al Khelaifi since the World Cup in Qatar.
During the tournament earlier in the season, the PSG president suggested that Salah could replace Lionel Messi, who was expected to move on from the club. Later on, it was revealed Messi would join Inter Miami.
The exact content of the discussion is not yet known, however, any move looks difficult to pull off.
Salah was happy to entertain Al Khelaifi’s approach, without necessarily agreeing with the PSG president.
