Former England star, Dave Watson has indicated Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale would be a perfect signing for Chelsea this summer.
Ramsdale may have played his last game for Arsenal at this point. Since David Raya was signed in the summer, the 25-year-old has been out of Mikel Arteta’s lineup for most of the season.
Ramdale’s only two Premier League appearances since September were against Brentford. With Raya not allowed to play against his parent club.
Ramsdale had a tumultuous game on Saturday. For the Bees’ equalizer, he made a grave error. However, Ramsdale made up for his error with an outstanding second-half display, demonstrating his talent to all.
Ramsdale’s happiness staying at the Emirates for the upcoming season is difficult to imagine. However, a lot will undoubtedly depend on the opportunities presented to the 25-year-old this summer.
According to TBRFootball, Watson said on The Football Fill-In that Chelsea ought to be aware of his circumstances.
“He deserves to be playing in the Premier League. But the ability that he’s got, he’s not going to want to sign for a lower or mid-table team, he’s going to want to be at the bigger teams.
“Where is the potential to have an opening? Could Chelsea look at him in terms of Sanchez or Petrovic at the minute? Would they be looking to maybe change?

“And would he fancy that kind of thing? That’s the kind of club that I think he deserves to be signing for,” he said.
The England international signed with Arsenal for £30 million after leaving Sheffield United. The Gunners will therefore demand a substantial amount, especially if a team like Chelsea decide for a move in the upcoming months.
