Florin Manea, Radu Dragușin’s agent, told Digi Sport that Tottenham Hotspur may be a stepping stone for the Genoa star before a massive move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Spurs are currently closing in on a deal for the 21-year-old after beating off stiff competition from Bayern Munich.
Manea stated on Wednesday that the defender has already completed the first part of his physical with Tottenham and that the deal would be completed soon.

When Digi Sport’s Vali Moraru asked the agent directly where he sees the incoming Spurs player in three or four years, he replied, “In three or four years, I see him at Real Madrid!”
The Romania international moved to Italy when Juventus signed him in 2018 but failed to find a place for himself at the Turin club. He joined Genoa on a loan deal in 2022 and his stay there was made permanent.
Dragușin’s fine displays this season convinced both Tottenham and the Bundesliga winners to make offers. He snubbed the latter to join Ange Postecoglou’s side, but his agent has stated the centre-back would have picked Bayern if he was a few years older.
“I was looking at a picture from when we started together at Juve, I was looking at how skinny he was. We are only at the beginning of the road, we want them to reach the best clubs in the world,” Manea explained.
“We were close, Bayern is among the biggest clubs, but his dream is Real or Barcelona. If he was 23-24 years old and had more experience, maybe he would have decided to go to Bayern, but I also took into account the age and the competition, I took into account many things.”
