Ramos issues ZZ backing

Captain Sergio Ramos insists the Real Madrid players are fully behind coach Zinedine Zidane despite rumours that he could be sacked. Reports in the Spanish media claim the French tactician is only one bad result away from being jettisoned, with Los Blancos set to take on Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
It has been a poor start to this season’s elite club competition for the Bernabeu outfit, with a 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and a 2-2 home draw with Club Brugge.
Real were replaced at the top of the La Liga standings by Barcelona after the weekend’s games, with Los Blancos going down 1-0 to Mallorca while Barca beat Eibar 3-0 away from home.
Reports of unrest behind the scenes at the capital club will not go away but, despite all the negativity, club legend Ramos has made it clear where the squad’s loyalty lies. “Everyone knows that the dressing room are with Zizou until death, and whatever happens, the image we must give is to be united,” he told reporters on Monday.
Nevertheless, Real need to beat the Istanbul giants on Tuesday to placate the dissenting voices and Ramos admits that winning is the best way to bring the club together. “Madrid always comes back and the only way is to make it together. The results will put everything on our side,” he added.
Gareth Bale and Luke Modric will play no part against Gala due to injury but Real are still favourites to return to winning ways at Turk Telekom Stadium.
