Rashford, Henderson And Lewis-Skelly Earn Call-Ups As Tuchel Unveils First England Squad

Thomas Tuchel has reportedly named his first England squad as a manager with Marcus Rashford, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jordan Henderson earning a call-up.

The Three Lions are set for March’s FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.

England aim to qualify for the World Cup Finals in the United States, Canada, and Mexico next year, and they begin their new season with a doubleheader at Wembley.

According to The FA, with 26 players scheduled to arrive at St. George’s Park early next week to start getting ready under the new management, Tuchel has also made his first England pick.

Among the group, defender Dan Burn of Newcastle United has received his first England call-up, and Arsenal defender, Lewis-Skelly, who has played for the Young Lions at the MU19, MU18, and MU17 levels in recent years, will be making his senior squad debut.

Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford, and Reece James have also been called up to the team. Tuchel’s first match against Albania is Saturday, March 21, at 7:45 p.m. GMT, in front of a sold-out Wembley. On Monday, March 24, at 7:45 p.m. GMT, England will play Latvia at the national stadium.
