Before Monday’s transfer deadline, Marcus Rashford is determined to sign a loan contract with Barcelona. However, a deal will only be finalized if the Catalan outfit are able to release up to two players.
According to The Irish Times, due to his steadfast desire to join Barcelona, Rashford has turned down offers from a number of other teams, including Tottenham.
The Blaugrana will need to raise money in order to pay United for the 27-year-old, as per La Liga’s squad cost limit regulations. In theory, they are willing to pay the majority of Rashford’s £375,000 weekly wages.
Unless Barca can negotiate the departure of one or two players, the England international and United may have to deal with the possibility of a player who is out of favor under Ruben Amorim remaining at the club with less than four full days until the window closes at 11 p.m. on Monday.

All sides want him to leave, even though Rashford and Amorim have acknowledged that he might stay for the remainder of the season.
Mathys Tel, a versatile forward for Bayern Munich who is also a target for Spurs and Aston Villa, is someone United would be interested in signing if Rashford leaves.
Citing “training reasons,” Amorim has not used the forward since United’s 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen on December 12.
Rashford stated that he wanted a ‘new challenge’ two days after being benched, and he has since only appeared in one matchday squad, for the 2-0 loss to Newcastle on December 30.
United are nearing a deal to sign the Lecce full-back Patrick Dorgu for about €30m.
