Arsenal goalkeeper, David Raya has reportedly warned his team-mates the danger Paris Saint-Germain pose while praising his side ahead of the two teams UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.
According to the shot-stopper, the Gunners are now ready to “write their own history” by winning the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.
With a stunning 5-1 aggregate victory over both legs, Mikel Arteta’s side shocked Europe by defeating 15-time champion Real Madrid. This erased any misgivings in the Arsenal camp and showed that they are prepared for PSG in the final four.
Arsenal have advanced to a Champions League semi-final for the first time in 16 years, and they are optimistic that they can reach the May 31 final in Munich.

In every way, Arsenal performed better than Real Madrid, and even though there were predictions that the Spanish powerhouses would make a second-leg comeback, Arteta’s team produced one of the most memorable European nights in their history.
Raya stated: “It’s a real statement, it’s great the way we beat Madrid twice and, coming to the Bernabeu, the way we played, the way we defended, and pressing high the way we were very attacking minded.”
According to the Daily Express, when asked about Arsenal’s semi-final tie against PSG, Raya cautioned: “Yeah we beat them at home but I think PSG now are a different team, they look even better now than what they looked back in the group stage and that’s credit to them.
“They didn’t get easy games either, but for now let’s look to the present and focus on Ipswich and see when it comes to it.”
