Real Madrid are reportedly getting closer to sign Vinicius Jr to a new deal amid interest from Saudi Pro League.
Although Vinicius is frequently in the news, the story that has surfaced most frequently has been the links to Saudi Arabia.
The Brazilian was reportedly present in a February meeting with Saudi officials, despite his assurances that he plans to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu for many years to come.
Since last summer, the Middle Eastern superpower has been after Vinicius, offering the 24-year-old a €1 billion contract.

According to some reports, Vinicius has been eager for a pay rise at Real Madrid, one that would significantly increase his income potential compared to Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
Football Espana stated that Los Blancos had reached out to Vinicius to learn about his wants and will start negotiations again at the end of the season.
Sport, however, claims that a new contract has advanced significantly. Both parties have reached a deal after Real Madrid President Florentino Perez made it clear to Vinicius that he would not be altering his pay structure.
According to the report, Vinicius will get a pay increase, but not enough to put him well ahead of Mbappe. An agreement is nearing, and it will be made public after the season is over.
They do, however, state that a unique condition is being explored, according to which Madrid would be required to at least examine or accept a huge offer from Saudi Arabia.
