Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has been accused of making Jude Bellingham “dizzy” this season, as the backlash from Saturday’s 0-4 defeat to FC Barcelona continues in the Spanish media.
Madrid was the better team in the first half of El Clasico, and they should have converted multiple chances while avoiding the opponents’ offside trap better.
After the break, Ancelotti’s opposing number Hansi Flick introduced Frenkie de Jong, who quickly took control of the game and impacted events that resulted in a Robert Lewandowski double, before the Pole’s front line partners Lamine Yamal and Raphinha also scored.

SPORT stated that a “very angry” President Florentino Perez had already given the green signal to his board to prepare.
Xabi Alonso will replace Ancelotti next summer, according to the same tabloid, and the Italian is now accused of making Bellingham “dizzy” with his repeated changes of position.
In the treble-winning campaign of 2023/2024, Bellingham was Madrid’s second leading scorer with it.
Bellingham was Madrid’s second-highest scorer in the treble-winning 2023/2024 season, with significantly greater flexibility as a false 9.
On Saturday, he was moved to the right wing against Barcelona and also played as a right defender in an attempt to limit Alejandro Balde.
“I put Bellingham on the right because I thought he’d find more room to move from the second line. Mbappe and Vinicius are on the left, but the right was more exposed,” Ancelotti noted after the game.
He’s also been positioned more centrally, and has thus far failed to score a goal this season while contributing just one assist, with SPORT reporting that Madrid has “lost the Bellingham effect” with Mbappe’s free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
