Real Madrid Eye Prodigy Who ‘Dreams’ Of Playing For Barcelona

Real Madrid reportedly consider making a substantial bid for Brazilian teenage sensation who dream of playing for their eternal rivals, Barcelona.

Madrid and Barca have fought it out over the years to sign a number of young players, especially those making their name in Brazilian football.

The two football giants engaged in a heated negotiation to sign Neymar, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes, and more recently, Endrick.

Additionally, it seems that Estevao Willian, another young Brazilian prodigy, will be the subject in another El Clasico battle.

According to a report by Madrid Universal, Real Madrid are closely monitoring the growth and development of Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao.

With three goals and three assists, the young attacking midfielder has driven Brazil to the quarterfinals of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup.

Because of the similarities between him and Barcelona great Lionel Messi, Estevao is referred to as “Messinho” at his club.

The 16-year-old is emulating Endrick, who made a name for himself in Palmeiras before switching to Madrid.

And like they did with Endrick, Los Blancos would be willing to spend in signing Estevao if his current form is consistent. The Brazilian has a €60 million release clause in his contract.

Estevao may be highly sought after by the 14-time Champions League winners, but the teenager’s desire to play for Barcelona may slightly work against them.

Indeed, the 16-year-old acknowledged in a recent interview that he hopes to play for the Blaugrana.

Regarding his greatest desire, Estevao acknowledged: “To play for Barcelona, which is one of the best clubs in the world. I was born watching Neymar, Messi, and Suárez play for Barcelona and that’s the dream I have.”
