Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Crystal Palace defender, Marc Guehi following his stellar performance for England at the ongoing 2024 European Championship in Germany.
With an appearance in every Three Lions’ game of the tournament, the center-back has been a rock for Gareth Southgate’s team.
According to Football London, top European clubs have taken notice of his performances on the international scene, with Real Madrid purportedly leading the pack in their desire to sign him. The Sun also reported that Barcelona and Juventus are also interested in signing him.
A tough transfer battle may be anticipated as Premier League sides, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also rumored to be in the running.
However, it’s thought that Palace are holding out for a £50 million fee for the former Chelsea player. The Eagles boss, Oliver Glasner has spoken openly about his desire to keep Guehi with the team, reports the Mirror.
Back in May, Glasner shared his optimism, stating: “I’m always optimistic as all these players have contracts with Crystal Palace. It’s May and many situations can change.”

He added confidently about Guehi’s future with the Eagles: “Nothing is 100 per cent but he’s under contract, he is a good player, he’s our captain, so I’m very positive and confident that he plays for Crystal Palace.”
Guehi, who is only 23 years old and has two years left on his current contract, has made 111 appearances in an array of tournaments during his time at Selhurst Park after joining from Chelsea for £18 million in 2021.
