The team has revealed that star midfielder Eduardo Camavinga would miss all competitions for the rest of the season.

In the 0-1 league victory over Getafe, the Frenchman did not return for the second half due to a leg injury.

The club released the following statement on Thursday morning:

” Following tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a complete rupture of the left adductor tendon Pending evolution.”

This season, the midfielder has been beset by injuries, which has hindered his efforts to establish himself in the starting lineup, reports DAZN.

Compared to the 34 games he managed previous season, Camavinga has only started 11 games, indicating a noticeable decline.

With players like Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao not being able to compete in the competition in June, manager Carlo Ancelotti will need to find a method to cover the void.

The midfield player’s ability to play and cover a variety of positions on the field has proven crucial. The Italian manager will definitely miss this uncommon profile come June.
